Clean-Up Day Set for Huntley Cemetery on Saturday
Mayor Wilpault Brill and editor Quin O'Brien urge residents to join a Saturday April 13 clean-up at Huntley Cemetery to clear branches from February storm damage. Easter Sunday falls on the 14th, so workers are asked to rake and help before visitors arrive. Religious groups consented to the Saturday work.

Huntley FFA Demonstration by Fire Department Night
On April 8, 1963 at 8:00 p.m. Huntley firemen hosted a demonstration at the Fire Barn for FFA members and parents. Firefighter Asper led the session on fire prevention and extinguisher use. An additional demo covered oxygen delivery and proper fire truck operation. Refreshments were served by the firemen. The Huntley Chapel plans legume-grass demonstrations with 26 different mixtures on five by eleven foot plots, monitored for regrowth and vigor through the University of Illinois and Ralph Burnett, McHenry County Farm Advisor.
