Notices advertise multiple real estate sales by vendition writs. Properties include a 200 acre Barree Township tract with a saw mill and outbuildings. a Warriorsmarks Town lot with two story frame house. a lot on the main road to Huntingdon Furnace. and a Jackson Township log house on a farm. All are seized as the property of named debtors and scheduled by dates in June 1848.
In pursuance of an order of the Orphans Court of Huntingdon county there will be sold on the premises on Friday June 2 at 11 o’clock the real estate late the property of Josiah Dall deceased in Jackson township adjoining John Barr Hugh Alexander Cornelius Davis deceased Hall and Rawle containing upwards of 200 acres with orchard a one story dwelling and bank barn plus a tenant house. Terms one third on confirmation one third in a year with interest and the balance at the death of Nancy Ball widow of the deceased secured by the purchaser’s judgment note. By the Court Jacob Miller Clerk. Trustee Matthew Crownoyver attends on premises for purchasers. May 9, 1848.
