Humeston Community Notes Through Decades of June Echoes
A retrospective of local events from 1925 to 1975 covers July 4 subscriptions, a booster auto trip, 104 rural 8th graders receiving Corydon diplomas, and residents like Fred Joy and Fay McVey. It notes Dr Geo McCulloch building a 96 foot diameter round barn near Humeston, plus business moves, rainfall, bank painting, potato prices, births, band plans, light upgrades, golf course talks, a one way Main Street change, a tornado damage near Keiffer Garton farm, a visit by German agri businessmen, and deaths of Guy Earl Auxier and Jeanne F.
