Humeston Memory Tale of a Prisoner’s Haunting Homecoming

A fragmented, old verse recounts a dreamlike journey where a man from Humeston travels with St. Peter through golden scenes. They encounter a heavily chained prisoner who questions why he is kept away while the traveler longs for Humeston and its memories. The text mixes nostalgic hometown imagery with a note of longing and introspective mysticism.
