Last Saturday Judge Maxwell visited Corning to hear the case of Mark Schnauber who pleaded guilty to attempting to rob Shipson's Bons store in Norway Schrauber. The court ordered an indeterminate ten year term suspended on good behavior with guardianship by J H Auman of Clorinda and required abstention from intoxicants gambling and law violations. Schnauber has gone to work for J E Myers near Sharpsburg. Also reported: Mr and Mrs B Thompson divorced in Fort Madison. Eva M Thompson granted the divorce while Thompson works in Lawton Oklahoma.
