Humeston considers electric lights to replace costly candles
The town plans to bond 6000 dollars to supply electric lighting within fifteen years at a rate of six percent. A special election is expected, with strong local support and a petition near two hundred signees. Leon Electric Co proposes a line from Leon to Humeston supplying one hundred lights at fifteen cents per kilowatt hour.

Gladys Hotchkiss Jessie Ray Gardner spent Sunday at Cambria homes. Miss Humeston coaches the high school girls basketball Monday and Wednesday evenings. Mrs Waight chosen as judge for Garden Grove declamatory contest next Friday night.
