Kestler Attends Southeastern Iowa Dental Meet in Keokuk
Dr. B C Kestler attended the spring meeting of the Southeastern Iowa Dental Society in Keokuk last week. The Burlington and Ottumwa districts of the Iowa Dental Society were represented by about one hundred dentists, with the convention described as very interesting and successful. Embree to Open Coulter Show in Lancaster Season
Albany Missouri circus man George Embree visits Humeston en route to Lancaster home of W P Hall. He has bought the Coulter dog and pony show and will open in Lancaster with a wagon show and fine stock. Route to Humeston set for May and summer dates in Minnesota. Embree, an experienced circus man, aims for major success.

Finch closes out sale with strong prices and move planned
H L Finch reported a successful closing out sale held Tuesday last week with a large crowd and solid prices. Spring calves brought 48 dollars each, corn 71 cents a bushel, 25 pound pigs 86.25, cows 874 to 888 per head, two year old heifers 88.50, broad sows 22. S J Clausen has rented the Finch farm located 27 miles west of town as Finch plans to move to town.
