Death of J. H. Shuster of Howell Dakota
The notice records the death of J. H. Shuster of Howell Hand county Dakota on November 28 1857. Born August 4 1857 near Yambria Wayne county he joined the Methodist Episcopal church at sixteen and lived a devout Christian life. He later moved with his family to Dakota settling near Lowell then was taken to Yankton insane hospital in January 1887 after losing his mind. He recovered speech briefly then declined again and died at the Yankton hospital of pancreatitis at one o clock. Burial occurred in Miller cemetery with relatives present.
