Ann Odd Injury Milda Jane Smith born August 14 1887 in Salem Fountain County Indiana died December 18 1920 at 2 30 am at her daughter Mrs Frank Crew Bedford Iowa after a month of illness from paralysis. She married Mayfield Smith August 4 1859 and had six children two died in infancy remaining Prank Crow Francis Smith Flora Broudin and Wh Smith. She is survived by three daughters one sister Mrs Reynold of Denver and one grandchild Mrs Frank Palmer plus two great grandchildren Ardyth and Ferrline Palmer. The body returned to Humeston for funeral services conducted by J D Pontius and interment at Last Chance cemetery.

Fidelity Lodge celebrates 53rd charter anniversary
Masons of Fidelity Lodge No. 2284 held a Friday observance with 90 members and visitors. The afternoon featured registration and reminiscences of the lodge’s early smuggling days, followed by an oyster supper for about eighty brethren. A Master Mason ceremony issued a new member, past mastery buttons were presented to six brothers, and talks by several brethren closed the meeting before a smoker and exchange of Masonry memories.
