Albia visits July 30 and tops the Reds 5 to 1 amid 16 Humeston errors and poor Red support. Hump Humeston pitched poorly as Humeston committed 16 errors while Albia’s Paulson later shut them down with 10 strikeouts. At the Kellerton Reunion the Reds played three games two on August 1 and one on August 2. Humeston defeated Davis City 6 to 2. Davis City and Anderson pitched a shutout in the morning but errors allowed two runs. Davis City is noted for its skilled players.
