ONC Congress Adopts Three Motions to Oppose Busing
The Organization of Northwest Communities held its first community congress at Prosser High School with some 65 neighborhood and church groups in attendance. Members elected Guy Micele president and approved resolutions opposing busing citing waste of funds and potential declines in education, while urging improvements in local schools and facilities. They also backed meetings to protest busing and addressed concerns raised by Rep Miller and ATCA observers. The group set a February 26 meeting at ONC headquarters.
