Adele Collins dies at 86 in Humboldt County
Funeral services for Adele Collins 86 Humboldt will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lindhart Funeral Home with burial at Union Cemetery. Surviving are sons Leonard Roger Ray and daughters Betty Larsen Jane Parsons, 20 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Adele Johnson born March 6 1896 in Sycamore Illinois moved to Humboldt County as a child. She taught in Humboldt County schools and married Charles Collins in 1918. he died in 1980 along with two sons and four brothers.

The Twin Rivers School District reports a general fund balance of $285,827 for the year ending June 30, 1982. Livermore Farmer Injures Foot In Accidental Shooting
Albert Berte of rural Livermore suffered a bullet wound to the left foot when a .22 rifle discharged while he hung the gun after butchering a hog. He was driven by his wife to Humboldt County Memorial Hospital and released after treatment.
