Eldridge family’s nativity scene dazzles Gilmore City church
The Don Eldridge family from northwest of Gilmore City crafted an 18 piece nativity set and added velvet and satin. Bonnie Eldridge painted and antiqued it in walnut, winning second place in a Waterloo ceramic show after adding a camel to reach 19 pieces. The family built the stable and feeders, and plan further enhancements while the church uses the display for the season.
