Humboldt council mulls zoning appeal fees and project funding
The 1982 hearing totals show 1.395 million versus 482 thousand in 1981 as Humboldt advances zoning appeal fees with a proposed ordinance. The council favors delegating project finances to local development groups while engaging Dewild Grant Beckert for a Sumner Avenue study at about 12 to 13 thousand dollars. A landfill fee plan sets a one dollar monthly charge to fund up payments and surcharge increases, and liquor licenses are approved for Sundance Lanes and Pasquales. A stop sign study is ordered for a risky T intersection, and a sewer damage claim is referred to the insurer with the next meeting slated for January 3.
