Rare 1903 First National Bank of Montezuma twenty dollar bill
A 1903 twenty dollar note issued by The First National Bank of Montezuma drew collectors at a local exhibit, one of only three known survivors, signed by bank officials of the era. Anniversary news notes Clarence Neff of Osceola celebrated his and his wife’s 65th wedding anniversary. They have six children, 11 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. In Humboldt County, precincts Avery-2 Beaver and Beavers were redrawn for a special county supervisor election Tuesday September 7, 1982, with polling places listed and absentee voting at the Humboldt County Auditor's Office.

Police report shows 52 citations in July
Humboldt Police Department released July totals listing 52 citations with five each for accidents public intoxication and OMVAIL one for possession of a controlled substance criminal mischief and domestic disturbances eight vandalism incidents and thefts. They assisted motorists 30 times and conducted six funeral escorts with four attempts to locate individuals. Alarms activated seven times ambulance dispatched 50 times fire department once. Regular officers logged 100 extra hours and reserve officers 250 extra hours. Department vehicles traveled 9 372 miles.

Grain storage concerns rise at Humboldt farm meeting
