Iowa Pork Tent Promotes Pork at State Fair
Humboldt County pork producers highlighted at the Iowa Pork Tent during the Iowa State Fair on Thursday August 12. Volunteers include Tom Kellner Brad Foth and many others from Livermore Ottosen Bode Humboldt and Renwick with 25 counties represented. The promotion aims to use 14000 pounds of Iowa Chops 2400 pounds of ground pork 22000 place settings and over four tons of charcoal during the 11 day event.
