Great Northern unveils new overnight train service
The Great Northern announces a nightly passenger line on the Northern route linking Sioux City, Minneapolis and St. Paul with daily service. Northbound departs Perkins at 9:41 p.m. arriving Minneapolis 6:15 a.m. Southbound leaves 6:20 a.m. arriving Sioux City 8:00 a.m. The service features day coaches, dining room, palace sleepers, and modern equipment from Sioux City and Saint Paul depots. Tickets include a photo offer of the purchaser.
