Mr and Mrs Albert Hubbert of Orange City and Mr and Mrs John Hubbert of Middleburg visited friends Mr and Mrs Ed Vergteveen last Saturday and Monday. John Walpole fell nine feet while working on a scaffold injuring himself though no bones were broken and he was badly burned. Mrs Stella Craig of Sioux Falls visited old friends and was introduced as Miss Stella Stickney while here she is a teacher at the Quilan home. Feticha Zettler hosted a beef fry for Miss Gertie Ryan of Sioux Falls at the river drawing about sixteen young ladies. Mrs V Aurit consulted doctors in Sioux City for cancer prior operations and remains ill. Mr and Mrs W C Leonard visited locally.
