Mr Henry Jacobsma and two daughters from Chicago visit friends here for a few weeks. Jacobsma is a Chicago school principal. William Dykstra, Atlas Elevator Co. manager, moved from Orange City and occupies J Beckhouse’s former home. Ed tijkytra, bucked by a horse weeks ago, recovers and hopes to shuck again soon, awaiting full recovery.
Special correspondent Goldie Coin notes Sunday visits by Goldie Coin at Matlock and Monday attendance by Miss Dora Verrips in Sheldon. Residents attend shows in Sheldon and trips to Monroe South Dakota. Local families visit Fairview and Cherokee while several auto trips to lakes occur.
