At Hawarden April 12 the executive committee approved a boys and girls corn growing contest for the coming season with a premium list and rules to be mailed to applicants. A poultry show and stock judging contest will also be included. The next institute meets December 10–13. Secretary G L Venaro notes past low turnout and hopes for more entrants this year.
