One Victim of the Storm Dies by Electric Wire Contact

A man named Harry Black, a driver for Sir Weatherheimer's hacks, died in Houston last night after being struck by an energized roof wire. Alderman L F Miller found the body near Wells-Margo Press and reported the incident. The corpse showed burns on hands and leg, with debris from a collapsed Gibla building roof. The power house of the electric street railway was demolished around 1 am. The body was transported to 206 Center Street.

Storm Damage Assails City Structures and Shops

Killing at El Pian Texas Aimed at Depot Officer

In El Pian Texas a late night incident at the passenger depot resulted in officer Rayner fatally wounding Gifford after a struggle with transfer of control at the scene. The altercation occurred near the Southern Tactic yards as officers attempted to arrest the suspect, with Gifford dying within minutes.
