A Sicilian groom Fussando and Caterina Vi were killed in Houma after a late evening wedding at Belle farm plantation. Fortula, at the bride’s house, fired a revolver killing Fussando through the heart and wounding Caterina in the abdomen. The incident occurred about five miles from the town.
