Dorst's Expedition Lands Arms for Insurgents at Santiago
Tampa reports an official notice confirming Colonel J Th Dorst's expedition to Cuba delivering arms ammunition commissary supplies horses and mules for General Garcia's insurgents. The force landed near Point Bones and included over 400 armed Cubans and millions of rounds plus Springfield rifles.
