Ashville reports the Cumber Park association will hold its spring meeting starting April 2. The event gathers members for updates and planning in the season.

The Examiner reports a World Pool binding powder manufacturers of the Eastern and Western hemispheres since 1887. Authorities seek injunctions as state and federal courts review the organization and methods.
Justice officials arrive in Walkesbar to attend the trial of Sheriff Martin and deputies over killings at Latimer. Democrats Mocara McAleer and Hott supported the measure. Speaker Reed opposed the resolution as Bailey and Dingley led the clash over gold standard and fiscal policy.
