Indiana Pa December 26 Milton Neal and his elderly wife were shot to death in their home near Jacksonville nine miles southeast of here. Their son found the bodies when he visited for a Christmas call. The room showed extensive blood spatter with a shotgun shell nearby. Disturbing signs point to murder, not suicide, with the wife killed by birdshot and the husband by buckshot. Neighbors say a clue is available and investigators will pursue it.
A fatal blaze swept a four room cottage on Dixin Street Boohon Green London destroying a dwelling occupied by Mrs Darvin and her nine children. The mother Mrs Jarvis and other family members perished with the remaining residents as the house burned. Mr Jarvis the husband died earlier in a workhouse infirmary. The cause linked to matchbox making and inflammable materials in the upper rooms.
