Dewey Seeks Campaign Push in Montana For War Support
Gov. Thomas J. Dewey outlined a defensive campaign in Montana saying it would not hinder the war effort. He spoke in Billings and Hardin promising a vigorous race to election day. Dewey attacked what he called the New Deal’s creeping doctr freedoms and pledged to win support for veterans returning home after the war.
