Proof of Devotion and the Toiling Husband
A damaged excerpt contrasts wives who lament words over deeds with husbands who toil to provide and stay with them. It argues that a man who spends his life at work and home duties is the strongest symbol of devotion, challenging the notion of neglected affection.
