North Vietnamese Attacks Rise in South Vietnam Sector
North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces increased attacks in the northern South Vietnam region. In three actions near Da Nang and one to the north, 38 South Vietnamese soldiers and three civilians and one American were killed, with 16 Americans and 49 South Vietnamese wounded.
