Teddy bear name origin from Roosevelt hunting incident
The toy bear got the name Teddy after Theodore Roosevelt refused to shoot a small bear on a hunting trip. Cartoonist K. Berryman popularized the moment, and Teddy bears entered the market soon after. The League of Nations operated for twenty six years from Jan 10 1920 to Jan 10 1946.
