Burglary Convictions Reversed Over Drunken Lawyer
The Arkansas Supreme Court reversed the bank burglary convictions of Elmer Franklin and Loyd Reid in a 4-3 decision, ruling their lawyer was drunk and thus they lacked effective representation.
