Horace Anthony Hardwood Lumber Company Expands
The Hope operation began in 1953 as a flooring mill and shifted in 1958 to furniture parts and lumber. About 79 percent of output goes to Arkansas furniture plants with remaining sales to nearby states. The 25-employee plant plans new equipment to diversify into tabletops desks and case goods, potentially adding staff. Mr Horace Anthony is owner and manager of the plant.
