Palestinians seize Syrian Embassy in Rome briefly
Three Palestinians stormed the Syrian Embassy in Rome with five hostages for two hours protesting Syria’s Lebanon policy. Gregory Levell Gulley nine of Rosston died after being struck by a car on Highway 19 north of Willisville around 7 45 p m as he walked the road. James R Chisholm of West Monroe La was the driver. Freddie Smith 53 of Texarkana Tex died about 8 30 p m near the six mile marker on Interstate 30 while assisting a stalled pickup. C M Atkinson of Arkadelphia drove the car that struck. Atkinson's nine year old daughter sustained minor injuries.
