40 Bales Damaged In Arkadelphia Cotton Plant Fire
Arkadelphia October 3 Approximately 40 bales of linters were badly damaged by fire at the Temple Cotton Villa company plant. The shed where 100 bales were stored was also damaged and the total loss was put at 80 dollars by manager Alton Gannaway. He suspected a spark smoldering in a bale as the cause. Loss covered by insurance.
