Nixon Ends Washington Run, Seeks Beach Solitude

Four killed in weekend Arkansas highway crashes

Officials said four were killed Sunday when a Stafford driven Volkswagen pulled off the highway and backed onto it. Kenneth Brittan 18 of Des Arc drove a station wagon into the VW. Also killed were Walter Jefferson Jr. 18 Osceola and Mary Lee Bragg 15 Osceola at a T intersection north of Osceola. additional fatalities include Dollie Young 52 Santuck struck by Karen Hindsley 15 Marvell, Dan E. Chism 56 Memphis hit by a tractor trailer on the Memphis Arkansas bridge at West Memphis, and James Moore 20 Gordon who died from injuries from a Prescott area crash Friday.

Accident at Mt Holly Claims Morgan Family

In El Dorado Arkansas Union County officials report Jerry D. Morgan 28 of Goldsboro North Carolina was accidentally electrocuted at Mount Holly Sunday. Morgan and his father John T Morgan 63 and brother James T Morgan 39 were hurt while moving an aluminum ladder to a water well when the ladder touched a power line.
