Hope Driver Involved in Fatal Wreck
The nine day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Downs of Stamps died in a Lewisville hospital from injuries after a Saturday night wreck north of Lewisville. Aggie Griffin of Hope was charged with driving while intoxicated after her car struck Downs’ vehicle at a stop sign on a county road. Griffin and Buddy Brown, also of Hope, were jailed in Lewisville after being charged with drinking on a state highway.
