Three-Vehicle Crash on North Hazel Injures Three
Three people were injured in a three way collision on North Hazel Street early last night. Wilton Wood attempted to pass and swerved to avoid an oncoming car, causing the Wood car, Bertha Miller’s car, and Luther Muldrow’s car to crash with heavy property damage. Mrs. Miller suffered a cut lip and her daughter Linda, six, an injured mouth. Muldrow had a neck injury. All were treated and released. A reckless driving charge was filed against Wood. Earlier Friday on Highway 67 east, Henry King Jr. and Guy Morton collided, Morton charged with failure to yield and King with speeding.
