Rhodesian Attack Reported By Mozambique Agency
The Mozambique Information Agency claims Rhodesian forces attacked a Mozambican army base near the border using jets bombers helicopters and paratroopers. The claim says seven Rhodesian aircraft were downed and fighting continued as of Monday with 20 aircraft taking part from four directions.

Three cars powered entirely by alcohol completed a 5000 mile tour in Brazil to promote alcohol as a gasoline substitute. The vehicles including a Volkswagen 1300 a Dodge Polara and a Gurgel jeep averaged 36 mpg on asphalt and 30 mpg on dirt with the air force sponsored test noting cleaner exhaust and improved acceleration.
