Court Refuses to Hast Recount in Logan County

Arkansas Supreme Court refused to stop a Logan County ballot recount that showed Democrat J. P. Mikles defeating Republican Buster Tritt in the county judge race. Jet Bomber Crash Leaves Seven Dead

An eight-jet Air Force B52 bomber from Larsen Air Force Base crashed and burned about 25 miles south of Wolf Point Montana late Tuesday night. Two bodies were recovered with five more unaccounted for. A rescue unit from Glasgow Air Force Base joined Montana troopers and Roosevelt County officers at the scene. The cause was not known. The crash occurred about 11 p.m. reported by farmer Jake Schlepp.
