Repeal Lead Gains in Kentucky Vote
Louisville, Ky 973 of 4200 precincts reported repeal results showing 82 200 for repeal and 39 200 against. The measure would not repeal prohibition in Kentucky before November 1935 and would permit medicinal whisky under a new state law after federal repeal. Local races also decided Democratic control of the Senate and House. Mayor race shows Neville Miller ahead of Col Dan M Carrell with 3128 to 2235 in 29 of 568 precincts.
