An 18 year old Marine was jailed in Little Rock after he allegedly told a Delta Airlines employee he would hijack a plane to Siberia. Pfc. Damon Charles Jeffrey of Piggott faced a federal charge of conveying false information to an airline employee. He claimed it was a joke though officials say the statute covers such statements. He was to report to Camp Lejeune but instead turned himself to Marine Corps authorities in Jonesboro on AWOL rumors.
