Autumn geese photo proves trickier than expected
The Star’s editor recounts a week of late afternoon attempts to photograph Canada geese feeding in a backyard bucket. The birds refused to approach the empty bucket or follow instructions, prompting clever setups with a 100-degree wide-angle lens and careful camera placement to capture the intended single-file shot while excluding the bucket from the final image.
