Two Lawsuits Chronicle County Real Estate Sales
Public notices outline two chancery sales in Hempstead County Arkansas. The first sale, in the case of The Federal Land Bank of St Louis versus Emma Armstrong et al, covers NW 4 of SW 1, in Township 11 South Range 24 West, totaling 40 acres. The second sale, The Land Bank of St Louis versus E L Judkins et al, offers one acre in SE corner of SE 1/4 of Section 35 and the W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 36, totaling about 81 acres. Both sales require three month credit with bond security and 8 percent interest, conducted at the Hempstead County Courthouse in Washington Arkansas on scheduled dates in October and November 1932.
