Price Control is More Preaching

A concise column argues against price controls as mere preaching rather than practical policy, urging concrete steps rather than rhetoric. The piece critiques government interference and calls for market-based remedies to curb inflation and ensure supply.

History as warning on price and wage control in politics

The writer cites a World War II reprint and ancient and Roman price controls to argue that price and wage controls fail and harm economies. He notes Babylon, Hittite, Diocletian, Robespierre, and Continental Congress examples to claim such policies are political preaching with little real practice.
