Bond amendment clash with bankers and Arkansas policy
A Blytheville Courier column argues against an anti bond amendment and condemns bond brokers for quick profit schemes that risk customer losses. It notes Arkansas history with constitutional bonds and taxes, urges retrenchment, and warns that voters will mandate legislators to curb expenses and stop further debt. The piece cites figures like Alfalfa Bill Murray and reflects a period tone on financial reform and governance.
