Impeachment talk sparks mixed reactions across New Hampshire
The editor argues against impeachment talk of President Truman, citing a Wakefield town vote of 17 yes impeachment, 48 no, and 35 abstentions. It explains impeachment is indictment only, with House bringing charges and Senate trying the case, noting Andrew Johnson’s acquittal by one vote as a cautionary tale.
