Five Week-End Deaths on State Roads Reported
Five persons were killed on Arkansas state highways this week end. The Associated Press notes two deaths occurred Sunday and lists victims as Johnnie C. Knight of Eudora Rozella Gist and Jesse Crabtree of Mena Billy W. Tittle of Russellville died during a high speed pursuit near Russellville on U S 64 State Police identified the others as Rozella Gist 29 and Jesse Crabtree 24 of Mena killed Saturday night in a two vehicle crash on Arkansas 159 near Mena Jerry Cross 19 of Hampton was struck by a vehicle on U S 167 south of Hampton while lying in the road early Saturday.
