Slayer Tries to End Life in Jail After Slaying Four
Fort Smith May 22 Deputy Sheriff Otto Metzger reports Bishop killer of four men in front of a Springdale restaurant attempted suicide by slashing both arms with a razor in his jail cell. He was hospitalized in conscious condition after jail staff arrived. Bishop was convicted of first degree murder last Wednesday for killing Paul Phillips, 36, one of the four slain January 17 in Springdale.
