Plants Thrive in Apartments Tips for balcony greens and container care
Modern cliff dwellers with green thumbs can grow many plants in containers indoors or on balconies. Use sturdy planters with drainage and moisture management, water often, add gravel at bottoms, and use sandy loam soil with leaf mold. Fertilize with natural nutrients, top dress with compost, and remove spent blooms to encourage more flowers. For pests wash or hand pick.
