Eighth grade exercises highlighted at Rocky Mound school

Rocky Mound Eld and Paul Reeves of Minden La filled their regular appointments. The eighth grade graduation was held at the school building Friday night with County Judge Higgason of Hope addressing the class and E G Steed presenting diplomas. A class play followed to a large crowd. J W Silvey and family visited Deward Silvey, and Mr and Mrs E G Steed made a business trip to Prescott Saturday. The day game between Sorepta and Rocky Mound was rained out Saturday afternoon. Rocky Mound will play Cecil here next Saturday after Mrs BE Hart and baby spent the week with relatives at Laneburg. The singing class from this place.
