Morris Pizer, national president of the LFW, says President Kennedy's rocking chair is not union made. He told the President in a letter three weeks ago, but a reply date has not been received.
A foot health product advertisement urges relief for aching feet and athlete's foot. It promotes bathing feet twice daily with a solution labeled T-41 and promises relief within one hour. The pitch claims benefits for 82 bones, 66 joints and ligaments and is linked to Gibson's Rexall Drug Store.
Hollywood actress Stella Stevens said she will return to Memphis where she faces possible 10 days in jail as the first step in regaining custody of her 6 year old son Andy. She described the cross country custody fight with her ex husband as brutal and said she hopes to be with her boy again soon.
A 16 year old boy, Bobby Bennett of Rohner, died Wednesday night when the car he rode in struck a bridge abutment, overturned and burned on Highway 1 about two miles south of Watson in Deshea County. The car was driven by Jack Mathews of Minot, NC.

Cape Canaveral reports a Blue Scout rocket shot off course and was intentionally destroyed about nine minutes after launch. Captain George Y. Lovejoy, 71, veteran Mississippi riverboat master, died Wednesday night from a heart ailment in Memphis. He joined the U.S. Engineers at 15 and earned his captain’s papers nine years later, commanding many of the lowboats and dredges used by the Engineers on the river. At his death he was business agent for the Association of Masters, Mates, Pilots and Engineers.
Odessa AP report details a mass arrest of 17 to 20 year old Black men after a white rape victim and her sister identified a suspect by voice. The masked assailant raped a 19 year old and attempted another rape at a nearby trailer. police booked many youths for investigation with no charges filed yet.
An unnamed unit sends their large military jet from Andrews Air Force Base to Palm Beach. The report notes the aircraft's takeoff and destination as part of standard base operations.

An 83 year old retired farmer, J W Craig of East Waldron, died after being struck by a log truck while crossing State Highway 80 near Waldron. The driver, Oscar Silvey, said Craig walked into the path of the truck. Craig died about an hour after reaching a Waldron hospital. County Sheriff Clyde Hawkins reported the incident.
A woman testified she was threatened with a knife and forced to undress during an assault. She sustained injuries confirmed by doctors. Her 15-year-old sister, awakened by the confrontation, saw the knife and hid under the covers until the assailant departed.
Princess Lee Radziwill says Mrs Kennedy will visit London in early June for two days after the Kennedys’ Paris trip. The First Lady is expected to return home soon after the London stay, with the Paris visit preceding the London engagement.
